Homestead Winery is the oldest continuously operating winery in the Red River Valley. In 1983, grapes replaced the traditional wheat and corn, and the vineyard at Ivanhoe was started. The great Cabernet Sauvignon grape does extremely well in the sandy Ivanhoe soil. In 1989, the winery was bonded and produced its first vintage. Today, production continues to expand and grapes are also purchased from other growers to produce the wide varieties of wines that Homestead offers. The Denison tasting room is continuing to expand in the historic downtown area. Sherry, Port and Red Wine are scheduled for production at the facility, while major crush and wine-making operations are still located at the vineyard and winery in Ivanhoe.

Welcome to Red Road Vineyard and Winery, where your wine experience offers a surprise at every turn. Established in 2001, Red Road Vineyard and Winery (RRVW) is a family owned and operated business. RRVW's winery is based in Naples' restored ice and power house. Built in 1890, it actively manufactured ice until 1970. Selected for their insulation qualities, the old meat lockers are now used to store wine and fresh grapes. A new tasting room now occupies the area where ice was once stored for transport. Guests are invited to try different varieties of wine in our tasting room or on our scenic deck. We offer a wide selection of wines along with delicious appetizers.

Mark Arra and Ann Guerra Arra, Owners

St. Rose Vineyard and Winery (formerly Guerra Vineyards and Winery) is a boutique winery located in the piney woods of East Texas. This country winery specializes in muscadine and fruit wines. The soil and climate of East Texas are ideal for this native grape, which has been identified as one of nature’s most healthful foods. The muscadine grape and wine are very aromatic and possess a very fruity taste. The fruit wines, all made from fresh fruit, include blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, peach and pear. In loving memory of Rosemary, our founder, the winery changed its name to St. Rose Vineyard and Winery. Mark and Ann Arra, along with their three sons, family and friends, continue to operate and grow the vineyard and winery. A unique tasting room was constructed from the transformation of a 100-year-old sweet potato smokehouse.

Sunset Winery opened in 2005, making it the oldest winery in Johnson County. Winemakers Birgit and Bruce Anderson make their wine in the "little house on the prairie" where they raised their three daughters. When they opened the winery, they had only a 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon and a 2003 Merlot to sell. Those wines earned a total of five medals in various competitions. To date, every Sunset wine entered into competition has earned one or more medals, including a Gold in the Lone Star International Competition for the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon. Sunset Winery has become known as the place for fine wines and fun events. Y'all come see us. You'll be glad you did.

Valley Mills Vineyards Winery lies in the heart of Texas, in Waco. Our hillside vineyard features European varietals which highly favor the rocky soil. Six grape varieties, representing France, Italy, and Spain are personally managed by the principal owners. Though the main vineyard is nearby in Valley Mills, the production winery and tasting room are located in an easily-accessible location in Waco. Don't let the newness of VMV Winery fool you - our estate wines have origins as far back as 2008, with later vintages being released regularly. We insist on using the best fruit, and we age our wines in American and French oak barrels, resulting in a sensory experience which is both memorable and delightful.
